На конференции IFA 2009 в Берлине Sony показала свой ноутбук VAIO X. Толщина его корпуса - всего 14 миллиметров, что на 5 миллиметров меньше, чем в Apple Macbook Air. Кроме этого новинка весит всего 700 грамм.
